Criteria:
The links below provide information on rockets in general, but also give
great ideas on the other features you will need on your vehicle. Some questions
to keep in mind as you are deciding on which type of rocket to build are:
What type of flight will it produce? What special features does
it require? Are there any problems that you might encounter if you
use this design? Are the materials required easy to come by?
Depending on which variable you choose to test, the following are requirements
for your final project: (These are only a few of the variables you
can choose to test for your rocket. There are many others that you
may decide on after researching the creation of your vehicles.)
1)
Rocket Body:
The blueprints must contain a labeled sketch of at least
2 different designs and the materials you will need to create it.
2)
Fins:
The blueprints must contain a labeled sketch of at least 2 different
designs and all materials needed.
3)
Nose Cone: The blueprints must contain a labeled sketch of at
least 2 different designs and all materials needed.
Your Blueprints will be turned in with your required packet of materials
for your final grade. It should be word processed and contain the
drawings showing the rockets and the variables you chose to test.
Good Hunting!
