Your presentation project needs to be about five minutes long. You will be scored on these items so practice is key.
This is a competency based pass or fail course. If you receive a passing grade before completing all four assignments you are completed. Failure to produce on schedule could result in a non passing grade.
Cover these topics- function, history, use, cost, careers, website and service issues.
Make a beginning, middle and end.
Be sure to speak in a strong voice while facing the audience.
Be sure to make the presentation lively and entertaining.
Be sure to make the presentation material brief with not to much detail.
Try not to read from the screen or computer, make lecture notes if needed.
Make sure all pictures and video links work from the class computer before the presentation. Be sure the sound level is correct as well.
If there is a similar item in class use it as a visual aid.
