Students should be reading for 20 minutes each night. Science: This week in Science we will be beginning our last unit, Plants and Growth. Math: We will continue learning about decimals to the tenth and hundredth. Remind students to keep practicing their fast facts. It is always an easy and effective exercise to have your children practice math facts at home and for an extra challenge you can offer them problems to solve in their heads without pen and paper. Language Arts: In Language Arts students will be working on their multi-cultural project all week. Home Reading: Each student should be reading at home. Over the week, students are expected to accumulate 100 minutes of home reading. This time should be recorded on the reading chart in the agenda and initialed by an adult at home. These minutes are added to the class total each week and will be redeemed for some great class events. Please feel free to email your homeroom teacher if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, The Grade Four Team
