To the students:

The Odyssey mock is on Thursday, 4 March. We will then plunge into the Medea, so please read the Prologue and Parodos before Tuesday.

Check below for links to the Vegetable Oedipus and the TV version. Watch as much of the TV version as you can.

For Thursday, 11 Feb, you need to be through the second episode of the Oedipus ... we have missed too many classes to do it all during class time!! On Tuesday we watched the first half of the Agamemnon. Please catch up with the rest of it at home by using the link below. Bring charts so that we can begin to fill them in for the Oedipus and make sure that your Agamemnon chart is complete. I have added a simple Oedipus family tree below, and a link to the story of the family.

OEDIPUS AND THE SPHINX

I am sure you have mailed me your Odyssey essays but I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM. Please PRINT THEM OUT and give them to me on Thursday.

For Thursday, 4 Feb, finish the Agamemnon. I hope we can watch part of the production. Bring your Homer essays and I will bring some sample exams.

We will be starting the Oedipus next week and get as far as we can.

Please look below for a link to an informative page about the life of Agamemnon, contributed by Alice.
