This is where you can find reminders about assignments and important upcoming due dates, as well as download worksheets you may have lost. You can study for tests using the activities and links at the bottom of the page. Weekly Reminders:

  • Lab 4 is due Monday, GRACE day Tuesday.
  • Campaign posters due Monday, pamphlets due Tuesday, smear and speeches are due Wednesday.
  • Work on chapter 5 unit work Monday night.
  • If you want to retake the biochem unit test, it must be completed by Tuesday, October 16.
  • Cell Races packet is due on Thursday, GRACE day Friday.
  • Watch 6-I video lecture Thursday night.
  • Take the AP Bio Lab 13 Pre-Quiz by 11:59 pm, October 23 (Tuesday).
  • Book project checkpoint #1 is due by 11:59 pm Friday, October 26 via turnitin.com. See the information below regarding expectations for that assignment.

Monday, October 15:
In Class: Lab 4 is due. Warm ups. Perform Lab 4E/F investigating cell sizes. Campaign posters are due up before you leave.
Homework: Work on chapter 5 unit work. Pamphlets are due tomorrow. Smear and speeches are due on Wednesday.

Tuesday, October 16:
In Class: Campaign pamphlets are due; Lab 4 (GRACE). Cell Unit Top Tens. Compete in the cell races lab.
Homework: Finish Lab 4F; it's due on Thursday. Smear and speeches are due tomorrow.

Wednesday, October 17:
In Class: Smear and speeches are due; Pamphlets (GRACE). Warm ups. Endomembrane simulation and membrane transport modeling.
Homework: Work on cell unit work (4-5).

Thursday, October 18:
In Class: Cell Races (Lab 4F due); Smear and speeches (GRACE). Warm ups. Complete the POGIL on cellular communication. Watch Ted Talk on quorum sensing.
Homework: Watch 6-I video lecture, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook.

Friday, October 19:
In Class: Cell Races (Lab 4F: GRACE). Warm ups. Redox reactions work. Begin the POGIL on enzymes.
Homework: Work on cell unit work. Watch 6-II video lecture, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook. Study for cell unit tests, which are on Tuesday, October 23.

Last Week

Monday, October 8:
In Class: Microscope and Plant/Animal labs due. Warm ups. Watch 4A demonstration. Set up 4C potatoes.
Homework: Work on chapter 4 unit work.

Tuesday, October 9:
In Class: Microscope and Plant/Animal labs (GRACE). Set up 4B. Mass 4C. Warm ups. Input data on this form.
Homework: Work on campaign project.

Wednesday, October 10:
In Class: No class because you'll be taking the PSAT all morning.
Homework: Work on Lab 4 (graph class averages for both russet and gold potatoes).

Thursday, October 11:
In Class: Warm ups. Learn how to calculate and include error bars on graphs. Practice calculating water potential.
Homework: Finish Lab 4. It is due on Monday. Watch 5-III and 4-IV video lectures, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook.

Friday, October 12: No school!
Homework: Finish Lab 4. It is due on Monday. Watch 5-III and 4-IV video lectures, and read the corresponding pages in the textbook. Campaign posters due Monday. Pamphlets are due Tuesday. Smear and speeches are due Wednesday.

Next Week

Monday, October 22:
In Class: Cell Communication POGIL (GRACE). Campaign Election Day! Finish the POGIL packet on enzymes (due on Wednesday).
Homework: Study for cell unit test; extra credit quizzes for chapters 4-5 are due by 11:59 pm. AP Bio Lab 13 Pre-Quiz is due by 11:59 pm tomorrow night.

Tuesday, October 23:
In Class: Cell unit MC and essay tests.
Homework: Unit work for chapters 4-5 are due by 11:59 pm tonight. AP Bio Lab 13 Pre-Quiz due by 11:59 pm. Enzyme POGIL due tomorrow.

Wednesday, October 24:
In Class: Enzyme POGIL due. Warm ups. Perform Lab 13 part A.
Homework: Work on chapter 6 unit work.

Thursday, October 25:
In Class: Enzyme POGIL (GRACE). Warm ups. Model enzymes and answer questions; worksheet should be turned in during class if possible.
Homework: Watch 7-I video and read the corresponding pages in the textbook.

Friday, October 26:
In Class: Enzyme modeling due. Warm ups. Perform Part B of Lab 13. Submit data via Google form.
Homework: Complete Lab 13 - due on Monday. Watch 7-II video and read the corresponding pages in the textbook. AP Bio Lab 5 Pre-Quiz is due by 11:59 pm on Tuesday night, October 30.
