I have made this page just for you. It will help us with our study of "Cool Kids Speak German". Please remember that "ß" is the same as "ss" (double s).

Below you see two of Oma and Opa's favorite spots in Bavaria, that's in Southern Germany. The pictures left to right are of Germany's tallest mountain (the Zugspitze). It is about 10,000 feet high. Next to it is the train we ride to get up to the top where you can make snowballs and see the Alps, Europe's tallest mountains. Next to those is Lake Eibsee where Oma and I go to eat lunch or swim. It is beautiful and has very clean and clear water that has come from the glaciers on the mountains. It also has little paddle boats you can take out on the lake. One of the boats has a slide on it that lets you slide down into the lake. The little island you see is where our students have gone to swim and sun themselves. Next to the lake picture is the lift we use to get down from the mountain top. Oma does not like it so much because the ride makes her nervous but the view from the lift is spectacular.
