Alberta is a very sunny place. It has a lot of landscape and massive plains. Alberta is also home to lots of things like mountains and ground hogs. Alberta's provincial bird is the Great Horned Owl and it's provincial flower is the Wild Rose. Alberta has Canada's top rated economy among the ten provinces and is expected to grow by 6.5% by next year. Also their cities are not nearly as big in population as the U.S. Alberta shares Milk River with Montana, a state in the U.S. Alberta's capital is Edmonton which is home ro the NHL team the Oilers. The first people to live in Alberta were Native Americans. They used Buffalo hair and hides for clothing and they used the bones for tools and weapons. There is a cliff named Head-Smashed-In in Alberta. It got its name because people would hunt Buffalo by driving them off the cliff.
