Along with historical documents and newpaper archives, there are photos and video clips and sound tracks of famous speeches like those of Martin Luther King, Jr. ***TASK After exploring the following WWW sites and testing your knowledge with a Learning Network Quiz, you'll have a better understanding of some of the important figures in African-American history and the Civil Rights Movement. Students and tutors could create their own WebQuests or Virtual Tours and post them to the affiliate WWW site (if there is one) or to QUIA -- www.quia.com -- which is very easy. ***CONCLUSION This WebQuest offers a starting point to discover more about African-American history and Black History Month. And it might take the entire month to explore all the online resources! But as several of the sites suggest: "Black History Month" is really every month.
