Course: Microsoft Office Specialist: Word & Excel

Course Technical Requirements: To attend this course the use of a computer, internet, and the ability to install software are required.
Course Software Provided: Jasperactive, G-Metrix, and Microsoft Office 360. (Software will only be provided for the duration of the course. Software will expire on 09/16/2022.)
Notice:
This MOS bootcamp is not led by an instructor, and is a self-taught/paced course which includes training and certification testing for Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Scholars are expected to access this course daily, and study regularly in order to prepare for their certification exams. This bootcamp will start on 7/12/2022 and end on 9/16/2022, which will give scholars 10 weeks to study, and certify, for both the MOS Word and the MOS Excel Certification. (That is 5 weeks for Microsoft Word, and 5 weeks for Microsoft Excel.) Your progress within Jasperactive and G-Metrix will be monitored daily to confirm active enrollment. If you are not progressing within the course, or haven't completed any assignments or logged in for a period of longer than 2 weeks you will be at risk of disenrollment.
***All Scholars have the ability to test out of the course, and move into certification testing, if they obtain a score of 80% or greater on their G-Metrix practice exam for Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, or both. This must be requested from Brittany Singleton, the Baltimore Education Coordinator, who will then schedule the test session. (Contact Information for Ms. Singleton will be listed below.)***
