SCHOLARSHIP INFO
Scholarship Essay Contest---Topic Jury Service. Why I feel it is important for citizens to serve on a jury. First Place $1000, Second place $500, adn Third Place $250 Deadline November 10, 2001. See posting on the door in Room 308.
William Randolph Hearst Foundation---$2000 scholarship and one week all expense paid trip to Washington, DC. Students must qualify by taking an exam that will be given on September 19, 2001. Those interested in taking the exam must see Mrs. Hedges in room 121 by September 17th.
WV Junior Program 2002 A potential of up to $10,000 in scholarship money for Senior girls. For more information contact cacres@inetone.net
IMPORTANT DATES
9-12-01 Balfour class ring orders will be taken from 7 am to 2:45 pm and in the evening from 3 - 6 pm in the MHS Cafeteria
9-13-01 Balfour class ring orders will be taken from 7 am to 1 pm in the MHS Cafeteria
9-20-01 The last day the studio will be on campus to take senior yearbook pictures. If you have questions, see Mr. straight.
9-20-01 MHS Open House from 6 - 8 pm
9-30-01 and 11-18-01 Any student interested in a health career, there will be an Open House at the College of Health and Sciences. See Mrs. Hedges for more information.
