Field Trip Information

On Thursday September 10 the grade 4 class will take a field trip to Cross Conservation Area.  The grade 4s will follow the Keepers of the Land program.  Our group will go on a guided hike to observe the characteristics of the prairie and foothills regions of Alberta.  Students will spend the day outside and will be expected to carry their backpacks and lunch on the hike.  Please refer to the preparation sheets I have included with this letter.  This field trip will serve as a good introduction to our grade four social studies program.

We will need several parent volunteers to accompany us on the field trip.  If you can come please indicate it on the consent forms I have sent home then return it to the school.  All parent volunteers are required to complete an annual orientation.  M. DeGagné will host an orientation session on Wed, September 9.  This is the day before our field trip.  Please notify the office if you plan to attend the orientation.
