Weather/Seasons/Clothing Book Project Information:

INFORMATION FOR TODAY AND FRIDAY!!!
Daily grade will be given for today and tomorrow---make sure you are working and not playing! I will expect to see 6 finished before the end of class on Friday FOR A GRADE! If you are not totally finished at the end of Friday, you may take it home over the weekend to finish and turn in on Monday at the BEGINNING of class.
WHEN YOU THINK YOU ARE DONE BEFORE TURNING YOUR PROJECT INTO ME USE THE CHECKLIST BELOW --- I WILL NOT CHECK IT FOR YOU AND I WILL GRADE IT AS IT IS WHEN YOU TURN IT INTO ME!!!

4 PAGES WITH 6 WEATHER WORDS AND PICTURES THAT SHOW THE WEATHER!!!!! PLUS 10 NEW WORDS WITH PICTURES AND LABELED IN SPANISH

PART 1: For each of the 4 seasons you are going to create a "picture of that season".
Directions that you should follow for making your project :
--There is to be NO ENGLISH anywhere on your picture!
--ONE SEASON per page; DO NOT WRITE ON THE BACK OF YOUR PICTURE, USE THE FRONT OF THE PAPER ONLY! You may use more than one page for a Season but do not put more than one season on one page. Your second page should be labeled with the season name also.
--It should be COLORFUL & MULTIDIMENTIONAL (cutouts from magazine, constructions paper etc. Kind of like a scrap book page)
--IT CAN BE MADE LIKE A COLLAGE
-- You should "DRAW or SHOW with pictures THE WEATHER" that is typical for that season and what you would "see" outside or activities that occur during that season
--Include the MONTHS in SPANISH that are typically considered a part of that season
--You should have at least 6 Weather phrases in Spanish used in your picture that is typical for that season: you can create "bubble conversations" with "people" to show the phrases or label the pictures that describes the phrase in Spanish.
--Label at least NEW words 10 that you use a dictionary to look up the translation that is part of EACH of your seasons scene. EXAMPLE: tree = árbol.

PART 2 :
-- Your favorite season should be labeled as such IN SPANISH!!! Mi estacion favorito es__________________ (for 'primavera' use 'favoritA')
--You will also create a page PER SEASON that you will SHOW the CLOTHING that is typical for that season. You must use at least 1 of the CLOTHING SENTENCES given at the BOTTOM of the clothing page on 110 on each picture. You choose the sentences, write them on the paper and then create a "picture" for each sentence and the clothing used for that season using cutouts or drawings (like you did for the seasons) and labeling the clothing in SPANISH <./br>
--There should be at least 10 clothing items LABELED in Spanish in your scene that is usually worn or used during that season. EACH CLOTHING WORD ON THE LIST SHOULD BE USED AT LEAST ONCE!!!! SO BE CREATIVE!!!!
That will make for a TOTAL of at least 8 pages-- 4 seasons pictures and 4 clothing and sentence pictures !!!!
REMEMBER!!! --- NO ENGLISH ANYWHERE ON THE SCENEs/PICTUREs and only use ONE SIDE of the paper !!!!!
