SCIENCE FAIR DISPLAY BOARD

SCIENCE FAIR DISPLAY BOARD

Use a three-fold poster presentation board found at any office store. The foam type is the most secure when standing upright.

The use of large stencils will make the letters more attractive. Posters could be hand-lettered, first with pencil and then retraced with markers. Large computerized headings are another option. Stick-on letters may also be purchased at office supply stores.

Choose contrasting colors for lettering - dark letters on light background. (AVOID flashy color mixtures.)

Good photography can be enlarged and will enhance your project. Take photographs before and after changes occur.

The dark background with light-colored mounted information creates a dramatic display.  Notice how the border art relates to the topic of the project, an excellent choice.  This student also chose a catchy title and relevant graphics.  In addition, this project used a well designed and executed plan.

This student chose a color scheme that related to the topic.  Also, the display included illustrations to show the results as the variables were being tested, as well as actual examples of the test and the control plants.

How to set up your display board. This is just one possible format.
