6. When I was an undergraduate student we read a portion of a National Survey on the state of the educational system in the US. This survey was done in the late '70s. In its conclusion it said that If our country had imposed our system of education in another, it would be considered an act of war!!! Those are very strong words. Why do you think they were so strong??
7. In the beginning of the year we heard a story by Frank McCourt. I found another video of him, before his death talking about the state of education. Listen to it......what do you think of his speech?
