Party Guidelines and Volunteers
Party Guidelines and Volunteers

Please follow the guide below when planning your party:

1. Please plan your party with the other class' party coordinator in your grade. This is not to say you have to have your party together, that is up to you and most importantly the teachers. However, the parties need to have basically the same format, with similar food, crafts, etc.

2. Nut-Free Reminders - Please make sure the treats do not have nut products or were not processed on equipment that touches nuts.

3. Obtain approval from Lower School Director for any game or equipment not typically used at Canterbury. Keep an eye on safety!

4. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle -As part of our Sustainability Program, reusable plates and cups have been provided to each classroom in the Lower School. Please use these for the class parties. Please review the new guideline "suggestions" for making our parties "green". These guidelines are available via the link Class Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Suggestions at Ms Hoover's online Class Newsletter.

5. KEEP IT SIMPLE!

Please inform Ms Hoover about your plans for the party.
