1. Determine my studying needs, and watch appropriate videos and do appropriate online activities to help
2. Find and use online textbook activities
What we're doing –
1. Effective Studying
a. Look at your study sheet for the quiz tomorrow. Highlight the "I can" statements you can't agree with yet. Put stars by the ones you really can't agree with, if any.
b. Start with what you need to study the most (stars, if any) and go to www.only2clicks.com/sraparrisdallia below, holding the "ctrl" button and clicking on it to open a new tab.
c. Under the "Para Empezar" tab, find the videos and activities you need. Go easiest to hardest. Watching/hearing = easiest (learning), recognizing/matching = more challenging, coming up with answers = hardest
d. When you feel like you can agree with an "I Can" statement you were studying for, move on to the next one.
2. Online Textbook
a. Go to http://www.only2clicks.com/pages/sraparrisdallia again. Under "Para Empezar," click on "Textbook: Realidades Online."
b. Use your half-sheet handout to figure out your username and password. When Sra. Parris calls you up to her computer, register the username and password there.
c. Log in to the website using the same username and password.
3. HOMEWORK - study for the quiz!
