The base cost is $20 for one student for 45 minutes if I teach at my home where I have a home occupation permit from the City of Gainesville. I charge an additional $5 for each additional student during the same lesson. If I travel to a location outside my home, I charge an additional $5 to $10 depending on how long it takes me to get to that location.
In my home I can teach up to two students at one time.
At my home
One student, 45 minutes = $20
Two sudents at the same time = $25
($12.50 per student)
Outside my home:
One student, 45 minutes = $25 - $30
Two students at the same time = $30 - $35
($15 - $17.50 per student)
Five students at the same time = $45 - $50
($9 - $10 per student)
Ten students at the same time = $70 - $75
($7 - $7.50 per student)
Students will also be responsible for purchasing or acquiring materials we decide to use.
I will expect students to make the most of their investment by doing homework. This can often be easily integrated into their day.
At no charge, I will meet with prospective students to assess their ability, discuss their goals, determine materials needed, and work out a schedule. The earliest I can do this is January 14.
