None of these assignments are presently open but will be referred to as needed throughout the semester
Assignments on this page may not be in the order they are to be completed or as assigned. Refer to your course syllabus for more detailed information about assignments due in both Quia and Canvas areas. I encourage that you do not get behind but work on getting ahead when opportunity presents itself. Assignments from this pages will be referred to on your canvas page and you will need to remember your user name and password. Any assignment reopened will carry a penalty and will need to be completed according to guidelines as mentioned in class.
Also, do not email me concerning any computer issue related to these assignments in canvas and Quia the night they are due ----why? you had ample time to get these done. Certain assignments in the canvas and Quia area will or may impact a minimum 40% of your average and have unlimited attempts during the time period opened. Some of the assignments from here may count as a quiz or tests, with tests counting 35% and quizzes counting between 10 to 15 %.
Any discussion board in canvas will have it on % of your average as well.
TESTS IN CLASS: Since tests are a window of opportunity will be given for you to use a prep test sent to you through canvas (unlimited attempts). Most evaluations will come through Quizizz not Quia.
REMINDERS WHEN WORKING IN AN ONLINE CLASS:
Manage Your Time
• Set up a routine and follow it.
• Log in often and communicate regularly to avoid being overwhelmed.
• Log in at the start of the week and scan through the assignments to estimate how much time it will take you.
• Start your assignments early (they may take longer online but that depends on you).
• Complete all assignments by the due date or sooner.
• Do not procrastinate -- you will not enjoy the course if you wait until the last minute and stress yourself out.
