These quizzes will help you prepare for the A+
Hardware Exam
Make sure you know ALL
of the questions and ALL of the answers
To do the quizzes you will need to set up a
Quia Student Account (this is to protect the
integrity of the Quiz Material) (There is no charge to set up a Student
Account).
To set up an account please follow the
instructions below.
Once you have set up an account you can do the
quizzes. You will not be shown your answer to each
individual question as you go along. You will however, be given your score
and an answer sheet at the very end.
You should be passing each
of the exams with at least 80% before you
should consider yourself ready for the A+ exam proper.

Instructions for creating a Student
Account
Your instructor requests that you enroll in the following
class:
If you do not have a Quia account yet, follow
these steps to enroll. (If you do have a Quia account, skip ahead. Your
instructions are below.)
Step 1. Create a Quia account. To do this, go
to the Quia Web site at
http://www.quia.com/web. Look right below the
Quia logo in the upper right of the window. If there is a line that starts,
"You are logged in as," it means the previous user is still logged in. Click
the "log out" link.
Step 2. Now, click the green area labeled
Student Zone. It's on the right side of the page about halfway down.
When the next page appears, click the button labeled Create an account.
Fill out the form that appears and press the Create my account
button.
Step 3. You should now be in the Student Zone.
Click on the yellow button next to the words Add / Drop Classes. Type
in the class code Please contact
Pauline
for the code and press the Add class button. Now you're done!
If you already have a Quia account, follow
these steps instead:
Step 1. Go to the Quia Web home page at
http://www.quia.com/web. Look right below the
Quia logo in the upper right of the window. If there is a line that starts,

labeled My Student Zone and press GO.

Now that you have registered for your instructor's
course, you can take quiz sessions and view your results, including your
instructor's feedback.
Follow these steps to take a quiz session and view your results:
Step 1. Log into your account. (Remember, go to
the Quia Web home page at
http://www.quia.com/web and click on Student
Zone.)
Step 2. To take a quiz session, you.ll need the
quiz session name from your instructor. Enter the session name in the
Session name field. This is near the top of the page, next to the blue
circle. Click Go.
Step 3. You should now see the quiz session
login page. Enter your name and/or enter your username and password so that
your scores are recorded for you in the Student Zone. Click Start Quiz.
Step 4. Take the quiz and submit it. Click
Done on the results page to return to the Student Zone.
Step 5. To view your results and your
instructor's feedback, click Go next to My Results and click
the bar graph icon.
