Thank you for participating in the 2021 NE District FFA Virtual Agronomy CDE.
You must complete the Honor Pledge and ALL 5 PARTS of the event by Friday, April 23rd at 3:30 PM.
All events are timed and you MUST ENTER YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME ON EACH TEST. Each portion of the event is set to a maximum of 1 attempt. So if you have some tech issue, pictures don't load in the test, or a window accidentally closes you will need to let your advisor know. Also, make sure you put your school and division in the honor pledge.
Each event requires a secret word. For all components your advisor has been sent the secret word.
HINTS/TIPS FOR SUCCESS:
• There is a "Quia Test Drive" for you to test your device's accessibility before you start the CDE. There will be graphics that load and if you do not see any, please email Mr. Bartel. The "Quia Test Drive" score will not count but it will show one none-the-less when completed.
•The agronomic quiz allows you to use the Kansas Corn Production Handbook, Extension Publication c560. I suggest having it in another tab or window for easy access during the quiz. https://www.bookstore.ksre.ksu.edu/pubs/c560.pdf
•When you finish each part of the event, there will be a button at the bottom that says, "Go back to Class Page". That is the easiest way to get back to this page to go to the next portion.
•If you arrow up or down while still clicked into a question, you can change your intended the answer on your test. Once you mark an answer, click somewhere else on the page before scrolling up or down to the next question.
•You can complete the various components of the event all in one sitting or go through it on different days. The only requirement is that the all parts must be done by Sunday at 10 PM central time.
•Remember once you click into a test, the timer starts running so you only get 1 shot. If there are tech glitches contact me and it is possible to reset.
Once you submit an area it will show you a score, but not the correct answers. Once the event has closed, all competitors will be given access to the test questions and answers using the same original log in.
