Listen to description of computer parts.
Student groups must repeat the correct names of all parts to each other.
Listen to description of desktop items and why some items may not be relocated.
Student response - identify items.
Listen to description of finder, opening and closing programs, and windows.
Open 2 programs, close window, find window, window shade, switch between programs with keyboard.
Open multiple windows in a single program. How do student will switch between windows.
Listen to description of hanging and slow processing computer tasks, and some possible solutions to each situation. Take turns tell your partner/team members the information - where they correct?
Assignment 3 -Breaking bad habits.

Objectives:
- To know expected behavior in class
- To properly store and retrieve files from the computer
- To make and delete folders and files
- To properly send to printer
- To open and close applications and documents correctly
Games, distractions, downloads, im's, e-mail, food and trash, music, radio, headphones, bad file management
Review class rules and penalties for in-class distractions.
File storage and retrival.
Creating good file names.
Group discussion
Creating folders group activity
Deleting folders and files group activity
Saving to disk group activity
e-mailing files as attachments ( to be reviewed later after e-mail lesson) group discussion
penalties for poor file management.
Death of files. Files will be sent to trash - but trash will not be emptied intentionally.
