Note: Please remember that all assignments (including labs) are due at the beginning of class on the due date. Any work turned in after class has started will have a 5% deduction from your score (you may be asked to leave the room if we are discussing work that you have not completed). Any work turned in, or tests not taken without prior arrangements, more than one school-day late will receive a 0% score. Online tests, when announced in the class page, will be opened only for the time period specified.

Day 1:

*Discussion on combustion and fuel properties of natural gas, propane, and butane.

*PPT on Gas Heat (from chapter 31 of the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technology textbook, 6th edition).

*Read "Dryer Gas Controls" (see link below).

Day 2 through 9:

*Demonstration on fuel conversion in gas dryer control.

*Demonstration on air/fuel mixture.

*Convert dryer gas controls to run on Nat to LPG and back.

*Connect and operate gas dryers.

Day 9

*Review for test

Day 10:

*Test on gas controls (see link below).
