Continue editing and working on final draft. Remember - you can get extra credit by using vocabulary/verbs/grammar from older chapters. Your project will be due on Friday.
Homework for Friday, May 8th:
For your final, instead of taking a HUGE TEST, you'll have a final project. EASY. Calm down. For your final project, you will need to create a small poster of your dream job. You'll need to describe the following:
The job
The education (knowledge) needed for the job
The qualities you'll need to possess
The skills you'll need to have (kind of goes with knowledge)
The salary you'd like
What you are doing now to prepare
For Friday, prepare a rough draft of a paragraph that includes these details. You will write this MOSTLY in present tense, but you will need to include at least one sentence (each) using the following tenses: Imperfect, Preterite, Present Perfect, and Subjunctive.
Those of you who are jonesing for extra credit - here's a good way to go above and beyond. Write extra info, use lots of vocabulary, etc. BUT - make sure it's quality work and not just end-of-the-year fluff :)
