Happy Fall FFA Week!!!
This week, the Holton FFA joins chapters around the nation in celebrating FFA week. We will showcase the impacts of agriculture in our lives and the contributions of FFA members in their schools and communities. We have a challenge for all our community members and for people around the entire country!
During this week, we are working with teachers in the middle and high school to have every 6th through 12th grader complete a version of this Ag Assessment. This activity alone has the potential for every student in USD 336 (6-12) to take a few moments to think about Agriculture and how it impacts our lives. We believe that is a very exciting thing to happen in our community this week.
Once you start, the test will auto submit after 20 minutes. Also another hint, you might want to have a calculator or scratch paper ready for a couple of them. We hope you have fun with it, but many of them should make you think. And don't forget to complete the test before the end of school Monday, November 2nd, 2020. All opportunities to take the assessment after that date will be withdrawn.
We are asking our community members and people from around the country to take this assessment and see how you do!! Please share it on your facebook wall or tweet and challenge your friends to take it too. LETS SEE HOW FAR THIS CAN SPREAD. WE CHALLENGE other Ag Teachers to give this to your entire chapter and see how they do. We would like to get over 1000 people outside of our school to take the assessment for 2020!
Best of luck on the assessment. We will be providing recognition on our Holton FFA Facebook Page for all of those that "meet standards" (60% -74%), "exceed standards" (74%-89%) , and especially those who reach that "exemplary" level (90% and above). We do promise NOT to publish a list of those on "academic warning", or "approaching standards". :-) The list will be posted and tweeted out from our chapter by December 1st.
