Course Description
Agricultural Science and Mechanics II - Prerequisite: Agricultural Science and Mechanics I. Agricultural Science and Mechanics II is a one-year, single-period, occupational preparation course. Approximately one half of the course is devoted to agricultural mechanics with emphasis placed on skill development in fundamentals of electricity, arc welding, gas cutting and welding, small engines, power woodworking and wood and metal preservatives. Instruction is also provided in animal science and further development of competencies in rural and urban living, leadership, and resource conservation.
