Welcome to the Edison High A.P. Environmental Science SCUBA Lab. This web site is designed to assist you in the SCUBA portion of your APES class. You will find study guides and handouts, medical forms, details for our upcoming boat trip, schedules and a calendar.
Our goal is to make this as helpful to you as possible. Remember that you have choosen to pursue this portion of the program. That means you are making a committment to attending the classroom and pool sessions. You will make reasonable efforts to stay current with your studies.
Remember that there are a total of 3 pool sessions: 1) swim tests and snorkeling skills; 2) Shallow Pool SCUBA instruction; and, 3) Deep Pool SCUBA instruction. We have inserted an additional pool session to allow for some flexibility. The important thing to remember is that session #2 MUST precede session #3. That means that sessions #1 or #3 can be made up fairly easily. Session #2 is almost impossible to make up. Do the VERY BEST you can to attend the scheduled pool sessions.
