Awards Day
The awards day will take place on June 10 in the MAIN GYM. In the morning at 11:00, the elementary will be presenting an award to EACH student in grades 4, 5, and 6.
This will be followed by a hotdog bbq lunch at 12:00. Parents are invited to stay for this.
At 1:00 we will be having the school-wide awards.
Grade Six JH Orientation
The grade six students will be transitioning to our junior high next year. For this reason, the grade sixes will be visiting the junior high TAs in their first class for a couple of Friday mornings at the end of May or early June. This is a way for them to get to know the junior high teachers and students and to feel more comfortable in that setting.
Provincial Exams
Students in grade six will be writing provincial exams for ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. Our next exams will be Social Studies on June 15, ELA reading on June 16th, Math on June 17th and Science on June 18th.
For each of these exams, students should:
- get plenty of sleep the night before
- eat a good dinner and a healthy breakfast
- drink plenty of water
- bring healthy snacks
