Please do the activities below to reinforce what you learn in the videos. The week number preceding the activity is the week the exercises are due so have them done before you come to class. The videos to watch for each week are listed below the activities under "Useful Links". When you come to class be prepared to put your knowledge into practice.

You can play the activities as often as you'd like until you master them. I can see who goes on and how much time you spend on the activities. There is a homework component to this course so expect to spend at least an hour a week outside of class. I have spent a lot of time creating these activities for you to make learning fun, so enjoy!!! With language, the more you are exposed to it, the faster you'll learn it.

Some of the games are Java-based so you will have to be on a regular computer in order to play them. They will not work on an I-pad. You will also see a popup window on the screen asking you if you want to "run this application" or to install a Java Applet. Click to install or to accept the risk to run the app. The Java games will be fun and you'll have a choice of 4 ways to reinforce the vocabulary: flashcards, matching, concentration and word search.
