This unit covers SOL 5.4. Students will learn about not only the states of matter, but also the different types of matter: elements, compounds, mixtures, and solutions. This unit introduces a lot of new vocabulary and it is important that students spend time studying each night! There will be 2 quizzes and one unit test.

The unit test will be October 25.
