Welcome to the 2017-2018 Hull Middle School Year!

My name is Kari Salomon, and I will be your Gifted/Accelerated Earth Science teacher for the next 9 months. It will be an exciting and challenging year with me, and I have provided several digital tools to help you be 100% successful in school this year, and for many years to come.

This site is called, "QUIA". Please say, "Key" "uh". (out loud, go ahead...) Thank you! Please remind your classmates to say it correctly. :)

We will be taking our tests and quizzes on this site as well as practicing concepts through JAVA games. (If you do not have a JAVA reader, the learning games won't work for you, but don't worry- we also have learning games on USA TESTPREP.)

Please take care of this UNIVERSAL PASSWORD for the entire year! Write it in your agenda on your birthday page and also in your science workbook on a page that you will remember.

The first thing we will do today is to set up your Edmodo account using the group code of:

First, click on the link below to watch the, "Edmodo How-to" video.

Go to www.edmodo.com, select "I'm a student", Enter your first and last name, enter your username as the SAME as what you use for quia.com. Use the SAME password as quia.com.

Set up your initial avatar. Read my first post. Respond appropriately.

Pay attention as I give you the "Edmodo Tour".
