Welcome to Reading in English! This class is designed to help you understand reading in English. You have already had experience in reading in English because of your previous classes. This course is meant for intermediate language learners of the age range of those person that are above adolescence. The first unit we will be working on is entitled Global Social Services: The Pros and Cons. Each chapter has a specific topic, for example, Chapter 1 will be about the pros of social services and Chapter 2 will be about the cons of social services.
The objective of the first unit is to give you more information about how to help other people, and how to make an informed decision on what is the best charity to give too. Also, you will familiarize yourself with new vocabulary, and critical thinking skills.
