Project – Create Your Own Political Party

The Progressive Party or "Bull Moose Party" was a third party in the United States formed in 1912 by former President Theodore Roosevelt. Roosevelt lost the nomination to the Republican Party, so he formed his own party, which actually split the Republican party. After 1918 the party basically disappeared.
