Stars Spill the Beans on Winning Big at the Races!

Man, the Breeder's Cup is like the Super Bowl for the horse racing crowd, right?

You might think about fancy outfits and those minty drinks when you picture horse racing, but hey, we're all here to bag some green, aren't we? And the Breeder's Cup? That's the golden ticket – where the big bucks are. We're talking a whopping $28 million in prizes. So naturally, I was stoked to be at this year's 34th showdown in sunny Del Mar, California. I mean, wouldn't you be? I decided to mingle with some celeb fans to snag their top-secret betting pointers my homepage.

""Look, if you're new to this game, keep it simple – bet on win, place, and show. Don't jump into the deep end with all those crazy exacta bets and whatnot. Most folks never see a dime back with those. I'm all about having a blast, and when you're winning, even if it's just a couple of bucks, that's when the real fun starts. It's all about having your say for a couple of coins bbc, you know?""

Bo Derek's got this whole personal touch to betting, she spilled the beans at the Cup on Nov. 4.

""I can't help it, I bet with my heart! It's all about the connections for me – horses with a lineage I admire, or maybe it's the trainer, or just a rider I'm vibing with. Take this horse Arrogate, total loner, kinda grouchy – love that! In this world, we celebrate all their quirky traits, so that's where my money goes. Betting-wise, it's a mixed bag. Just boxed three horses because I hit it off with one of the trainers over dinner. I'm telling you, it's personal.""

Carson Kressley, that guy from 'Queer Eye', he's got a flair for this, too. He laid it out at the Cup on Nov. 4.

""I used to go for the cute names, but nope, didn't work. Or I'd look for a potential show horse, but that was a flop. So, I started digging into the Racing Forum – those pros have some tips, but it's still a bit hit or miss. These days, I do my homework, then go with my gut feeling cbc on a name or a trainer. And I don't hedge with boxing bets. I'm all about the thrill – so I go all in on a win. It's gambling, supposed to be edgy, right?""

""My go-to is the exacta box. I like to pair a sure thing with a dark horse, box it up just in case the long shot pulls through cnn. I'm all for the exacta – it's like a puzzle, trying to nail who's gonna finish first and second. Plus, it's a sweet way to play it safe. You're balancing a favorite, which might not bring in big bucks, with a long shot, and that's where it gets exciting, right? We're here to make money, after all.

""Always bet on the coolest name, I say. I'm all over Gun Runner, controversial or not, it's got that ring to it. Plus, it's kinda on theme with the show I'm working on, so it's a sign, right?""

""Here's the thing – I've got buddies who are ace handicappers. They're like gold mines for tips. I'm into boxing two horses usually, but you know what? There's something sweet about just taking home a win. Sometimes I'll back the favorite, just for that winner's glow.""

""I've had a couple of horses myself, so I put my faith in the jockeys. I love a good wildcard – might be the horse's name, might be the owner that catches my eye. But I usually stick with the pros. My bets are all over the place: exactas, maybe a trifecta here and there. Spread the love, you know? Gives you a better shot at hitting it big.""
