Then, if your child is stimuable, you can use the /s/ sound games and activities to help your child practice producing the /s/ sound:
Step 1: At the beginning of syllables 3x each imitatively (they repeat after your model)
Step 2: At the beginning of syllables 3x each all by themselves
Step 3: At the beginning of words first imitatively (they repeat the words after your model)
Step 4: At the beginning of words all by themselves.
Step 5: At the beginning of words used in a sentences imitatively
Step 6: At the beginning of words used in a sentence they make up themselves
Step 7: At the end of syllables 3x each imitatively
Step 8: At the end of syllables 3x each all by themselves
Step 9: At the end of words imitatively
Step 10: At the end of words all by themselves
Step 11: At the end of words used in a sentence imitatively
Step 12: At the end of words used in a sentence they make up themselves
Step 13: In the middle of words imitatively
Step 14: In the middle of words all by themselves
Step 15: In the middle of words in sentences imitatively
Step 16: In the middle of words in sentences they make up themselves
Step 17: Work on carryover - /s/ in conversation
