Use the steps below to install a printer. You will be instructed on which printer drivers to install:
1. First, determine the type of printer you have (your printer is a HP2200dtn). If you've misplaced your printer's manual, you can locate the make and model of your printer by looking on the printer itself.
2. Next, Know what operating system you're running on your computer. To find your operating system, go to "My Computer," then "View System Information."
3. Locate your printer manufacturer's website (HP) by searching for the name of your printer (HP2200dtn) in a search engine. Adding the word "driver" to your search can aid in finding the specific page with one search.
4. Download your printer's driver (download the HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 driver) to install your printer ( the file name should be upd-PCL6-X32-5_2_6_9321.exe), save in the my documents folder. After the driver has downloaded, ask Mr. Pendleton to check your progress.
