Write about a tragic or stressful situation that occurred in your life in which you stayed calm (five sentence minimum). Students need to me familiar with the differences between fiction and nonfiction, the events in the stories we read, and the different purposes of fiction and nonfiction. After students finish the test, they will participate in a powerpoint introducing Harper Lee.
