November Happenings
PTA meeting Tuesday, November 8 at 6:30 in the Little Theatre. Wednesday, November 9 is the day for fall picture re-takes.
Thanksgiving break is from November 23 until the 27.
Informational Happenings
Collect Campbell's Soup Labels, General Mills Box Tops and Tyson A+ Labels. Do this throughout the year and we will get free items for our school!!
Mr. Phillips has asked that all adults and children remember to use the cross walk at pick up and drop off times for safety reasons.
PLEASE have your mom or dad initial your assignment book daily. This is such a good habit. Please check blue folders daily.
Don't forget to make sure that you wear or bring appropriate shoes for walking.

Remember to refer to the assignment book when in question.
Math, Language Arts, and Science vary.
All work is in the assignment book and assignments are subject to change depending on how we comprehend the subject.

Classroom News & Events
*Assignment Books are working well! Most all students are bringing back their book each morning completed. This is a great way to help your child stay organized and a great communication tool between school and home.
*Beginning this week, your child will be getting math homework nightly. The weekly homework packet will only include spelling and reading/language arts.
Here's what we're learning:
Math: multiplication
Reading: Bunnicula, questioning, identifying author's purpose and main idea
Science: Space
Social Studies: Communities and Geography, Citizens
Grammar: contractions
