Monday is the LAST chapter test for the year..To do well on the Chapter 8 TEST review all the vocabulary on page 285 and how it is used in context on pages 256, 257, 259, 268, 269 and 271.
Review the irregular verbs pouvoir (to be able) and devoir ( to have to ) on page 260 and dormir, sortir and partir on page 272.
Review the passé composé for regular -ir and -re verbs page 262 and for the Dr. and Mrs. Vandertramp verbs on page 274
Finally review the negative words page 264.

1. Tomorrow in class you will see DR and MRS VANDERTRAMP - which is the acronym for the 16 verbs conjugated with être for the past tense. You will see the verbs in French and you will write
what they mean in English then you will see sentences where you will write the verb in the passé composé so you will need to know the past participles and that they must agree with the gender and number of the subject. Example: Mes soeurs___________(aller) au café hier soir. And you will write sont allées.
2. Do Prépare-toi pour l'examen du chapitre 8 on pages 282 and 283. The last chapter test on Chapter 8 will be on Monday, June 8.

1.To do well review all the vocabulary. You will need to recognize it with your eyes and ears! You will write a few sentences in French describing a picture with people wearing different clothing items.
2. Review how to form the past tense (passé composé on pages 238 - 240.
3. Review the demonstrative adjectives (page 226) and you will circle the correct one according to the gender and number of the noun.
4. Review the interrogative adjectives (page 228) and again you will circle the correct form depending on the gender and number of the noun it is describing.
