These sites will help you investigate various renewable energy sources. Your first stop can be the very useful electronic databases. For home use, you may need a Marion County Library card number. Some of the databases are through the Indiana Virtual Library, INSPIRE. Don't forget that energy sources can be somewhat of a controversial topic, and many of the pages you encounter could be biased in favor of one group or another. Be sure to make note of the owners of the website. Within these links, you will find many other useful links with information you could use.

Useful links |
- Great place to start with the databases. For energy projects, the most helpful ones might be Student Resource Center, Opposing Viewpoints, and some of the others in the right column. The INSPIRE databases are not as user friendly, but do link to valuable information.
- Worldbook Online. If you are prompted for a user name/password, they are both the name of our district.
- This page includes information about solar, wind, biomass, hydrogen, geothermal, ocean, and hydropower.
- Nice page from the American Wind Energy Association
- These fact sheets are from a Texas organization. What energy source is big in Texas?
- This site has a lot of energy statistics.
- Within these pages, you will find many more links with easy-to-understand information.
