We will be introducing Chapter 4 - Genetics, with the activity highlighted on page 169 of the Science textbook.We are also doing a hands-on activity demonstrating how the genetic makeup of a daog comes from both parents. Practice using this concept can be found on page 181 of their science textbook.
Tuesday, December 15
We will be assigning pages 172-180 in their science textbook. We will also be showing a short video about Gregor Mendel's experiments with pea plants. Unfortunately, this is an online video resource and cannot be uploaded or shared on this web site.
Wednesday, December 16
The students will outline the main ideas in their Reading Essentials Workbook pages 47-52.
Thursday, December 17
Reading Essentials outline, pages 47-52, due Friday. Today the students will write the definitions for their vocabulary. The vocabulary words are found on page 172 in their science textbook. The words are also found (in context) in their Reading Essentials workbook on pages 47-52.
