Monday January 25
We are starting a new Unit, Unit 3. The focus of this unit is Change Over Time. Today we begin with Lesson 1, Natural Selection. We are showing a video called "Galapagos: Beyond Darwin" a Discovery Learning video from United Streaming. This is an introduction to the Unit on Natural Selection. STudents will be required to write down five questions they have about Natural Selection as they view the video. Unfortunately, this video is too large to upload to our web page.
Tuesday January 26
Today we will be reading pages 59-63 in the Science Reading. We will be highlighting the main ideas in each section. The students will use those main ideas to create an outline for those pages. Download the Reading Essentials pages and the basic outline below. The outlines are due Friday, January 29.
