The students will be reading pages 64-68 in their Reading Essentials workbook. They will be asked to highlight main ideas, however, no outline will be assigned for this section. The students will be expected to answer the questions in the sidebar sections on those pages. If you son/daughter is absent they may download the pages from their workbook below.

Tuesday, February 9
The students will be reviewing for their Chapter 5 Final on Wednesday. They will be expected to know the following vocabulary words; adaptation, natural selection, structural adaptation, camouflage, mimicry, and behavioral adaptation. Students may visit the Glencoe web page listed in the Useful Links section and do the practice tests as a review for the final. There will be about 15 general questions (multiple choice) as well as the vocabulary on the test. We will be playing a "Final Review" game by using content from Chapter 5. Download that review below. The Chapter 5 Final test will be Wednesday.

Thursday, February 11
No science class today. We will be on a field trip to the 2010 Sierra-Cascade Logging Conference in Redding at the Convention Center with Mr. M Mitchell and Mrs. Ross homerooms.
