Today we will allow the students time in class to work on their Geologic Time Scale posters. THESE ARE DUE THIS FRIDAY!
Tuesday, May 4
Today we will be introducing the 2-liter Bottle Rocket Contest for Open House. Open House is May 20 from 6-7:30 pm. Each student or team of no more than 3 students will make a 2-liter bottle rocket. Points will be awarded for a successful launch, additional points will be awarded for a successful parachute recovery and GRAND points will be awarded for landing an egg safely on the ground. The students must provide their own 2-liter bottle. Download the Instruction slideshow and the Rules for making the rockets below.
