Week of 8/30-9/03 Science Lessons
Monday, August 30
Today we will begin Lesson 2, Chapter 1 by reading pages 6 – 8 in the Reading Essentials Workbook. We will be highlighting the main ideas in each paragraph. After reading these pages and highlighting the main ideas, the students will be assigned to complete an outline for those pages.
Tuesday, August 31
Today we will continue Lesson 2, Chapter 1 by reading pages 9-11 in the Reading Essentials Workbook. We will be highlighting the main ideas in each paragraph. After reading these pages and highlighting the main ideas, the students will be assigned to complete an outline for those pages.
Wednesday, September 1
We will be watching a video from the Discovery Channel called "Cells" and the students will be taking notes on the video. After the video, the students will write a 6-10 sentence summary of the information discussed in the video.
Thursday, September 2
We will be reading pages 56-66 in the Science textbook and then completing pages 4-5 in the Science Notebook Workbook.
