Plans:
Students use folders to work on individual work. They may have up to 15 minutes per class for personal class issues/homework. As needs evolve, student work on heterogeneous plans to meet individual needs yet work cooperatively to develop language skills with both social English and academic English from an instructional and life skills mindset. Those students who are intermediate and above focus entirely on academic English as it pertains to their grade level cluster and course load. On occasion, if a student is lacking knowledge about a cultural experience or concept, we will work through a simulation or experiential project.
