Course Description


Algebra is designed to prepare students for Geometry and Algebra II when they enter High School. Students taking this class should have completed Pre-Algebra and passed the SOL test. This is an advanced class and the pace will be somewhat fast at times. We will cover the Algebra I basic skills and do many activites that go beyond the basic skill requirements. As a high school credit class, students will be expected to take an exam at the end of each semester.

Classroom Expectations


Students will show respect for others in both their actions and speech.
The students will come to class with paper, pencil, and completed assignments.
All work in Algebra WILL BE done in PENCIL!!!!
