This is a sample Quia page for the Weekly Pacing Guide Calendar
1. Click on the link on the Secondary Resources webpage for "Weekly Pacing Guide Calendar" and download the Word document to your computer.
2. Save this Word document to your desktop.
3. Click on the link on the Secondary Resources webpage for "Pacing Guides" and download the pacing guide for your subject to your computer.
4. Save this Word document to your desktop.
5. Click on the link on the Secondary Resources webpage for "Standards of Learning" and download the standards of learning from the VDOE website for your subject to your computer.
6. Save this Word document to your desktop.
7. After you have downloaded these files to your desktop, you will copy and paste the information from the pacing guide and/or the state standards into the new weekly pacing guide calendar.
Once the weekly pacing guide calendar is complete you will need to upload it to your Quia webpage.
8. Log into your Quia webpage using your username and password.
9.Look across the tabs and click on the tab labeled "files."
10. Click on upload
11. Click on browse and find the new weekly pacing guide calendar that you just created.
12. Click Open
13. Click OK
This will upload the calendar into your files. Now you will need to add it to your webpage.
14. Click on the Classes tab of the Instructor Zone to get back to your class page.
15. Click on the word "edit" beside of your class page.
16. Scroll down to section 4 of your webpage until you see a small drop down box. Click on this box and choose "file."
17. Click on browse.
18. Click on the file you just uploaded and then click OK.
19. A new message box will open up. You will need to type something in this box such as "Click here for .....pacing guide calendar.."
20. Click OK
21. Click on "Save changes" and you are done.
