PROVIDING CLASS/TEST MODIFICATIONS FOR YOUR STUDENTS READ ALOUD (RA) *You can read tests aloud after school on Tues. or Thurs. in afterschool labs. *You can contact A.Jones in vocational building to see if she can read tests to students during your test session. *Contact a Resource teacher to have tests read in the Lab during school..especially group tests EXTENDED TIME(ET) *Extended time can be finishing assignments the same day in Resource lab. *Extended time can be allowing students to finish assignments in after school labs. *Extended time can be allowing the students an extra day to complete work...It really depends on the student's level of need. MARK IN BOOK/ON TEST This modification really helps students who need the visual reinforcement of viewing/reviewing their work. *Allow students to mark on tests..instead of an answer sheet.(some have trouble transferring information) *If you are worried about copies..see a Resource teacher) SEPARATE SETTING (SS) *A student may be easily distracted in a large setting.. *Student could test after/before school or in Resource lab. *Student may have'nervous tics'that distract others. A separate setting may prevent him/her from distracting other students. MULTIPLE TEST SESSIONS(MTS) *Student may start test in class and finish in afterschool or Resource lab same day..or the next day. SEE ANY RESOURCE TEACHER FOR MORE INFORMATION.
