This report must be done on a book from the Virginia Reader's Choice/Young Readers List that is on the back of your letter to parents and students. This is an oral presentation, and you are allowed to use note cards or paper to assist you at the podium. You must share the following: 1. Title 2. Author 3. An Overall Summary of your book 4. Whether or not your book stands the test of time, along with specific reasons why or why not. You have between 55 seconds and a minute 5 seconds to complete your presentation. You will be rated in each of the five categories below on a scale of 1 to 20, with 20 being the highest score (total possible=100) 1. Evidence of preparation and practice, knowledge of material, and organization 2. Posture, stance, and appearance at podium 3. Voice- volume, inflection, pronunciation, and diction 4. Eye contact 5. Timing IB Drama Assesment will be graded on Criterion A, Knowledge and Understanding, in which the student can use theoretical knowledge and subject-specific terms to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the topic under consideration. Maximum Points- 8.
