1. Write a complete transition and topic sentence.

So we would not get lost, the boy tried to give us directions to the store.
3. Watch pronoun and verb agreement.
He saw the ships go by and I am waving. (I was waving)
Everyone wants their own part in the play. (Everyone wants his/her)
4. Paragraphs should be 4-8 sentences. Be specific and get to the point. Vary and
combine sentences.

5. Use specific terminology and vivid verbs.
One thing that makes me feel cool is playing the tuba.
